The Billikens have already racked up a few A-10 Weekly Conference awards already this season including, two A-10 Performer from Grant Streid and Savannah Nichols. As well as three A-10 Rookie awards from Janssen Gamilla, Emily Smith, and Matthew Terrian. For a closer in-depth look, Assistant Coach Gavin Hagar shares his thoughts on outcome and expectations for the team,
[SOT]How has the training been this year… and how do you think it will play out at this year’s invite?
“All the kids are in great shape working really hard. They’ll give forth their best effort here most of them should be best times like we said most of them are in the best shape of their lives especially in comparison to last year.”
How do you expect to move forward with the results from the Invite?
“What we’ll look at after, see if we liked our times chances are what we’re doing is working in the pool and we’ll continue doing what we’re doing. If we don’t like our times what we’ll end up doing is just working harder trying to find things to fix and move forward with that for the last three months of this season to get ready for A-10 championships in February.”
